Thinking about taking my 14.5 year old son in the summer hols, he's started watching 15 cert horror (Carrie, etc), would he enjoy it, i.e. will he be scared witless (the general idea), or would he find it 'lame'?

I saw it when it first came to London a few years back. Brilliant! A few jumpy bits, but it's more atmospheric. I'm a complete wimp and we were sat in the front row and I was okay. It's not all out horror, there's a lot of talking in it.

We saw it last night. The minimum age is 15. Ds is 15 next week and they asked his age when we bought the ticket. It was really good, very dark and scary. Ds and I were both a bit freaked out by it. It was definitely not lame! We are just on the train home from London now.

DH and I saw it a couple of months ago - birthday treat for him as he loves all that sort of thing. It was fantastic, although I had my eyes tightly shut through some of it! DH absolutely raved about it - wants to go again! Very well written and the actors were all tremendous.
