Book(s) - I can't get it down to one, I'm afraid Blush. Oblivion: Stories by David Foster Wallace; Money by Martin Amis; Thud by Terry Pratchett.

Film(s) - Jesus Christ Superstar 2000 (very different from the other versions) and Fargo.

Album - I don't have a favourite. AB3 by Alter Bridge, Songbird by Eva Cassidy, Jailbreak by Thin Lizzy, and Different Class by Pulp are all albums I'd recommend, though!
