Light Show at the Southbank?

Worth a trip? Would a 6 yr old enjoy it?

Yes, my 6 and 4 year old loved it and were doing their own light show at home in the dark with glow bracelets after. Definitely book ahead online though and be ready to queue (dh or I would get in the queue for installations with wait times and the other take the kids off for a few minutes).
