Please could one of you clever mners tell me where to find a poem/song/ditty/book about cats - ds has come home from school talking about cats from greece who join the police, cats from france who like to sing and dance, cats from norway who got stuck in a doorway - I have asked the teachers but no-one remembers reading this to him - he sure as ** didn't make it up.

Have spent way too long on the internet trying to find the answer - a lovely long time re-reading children's poetry books - all to no avail

Please help

it's from \link{http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/081930753X/202-7642357-0689467\this book}

The cat from France liked to sing and dance,
The cat from Spain flew an aeroplane,
The cat from Norway got stuck in the doorway,
The cat from Japan had a very large fan....
But my cat likes to hide in boxes

Rhubarb · 06/04/2006 21:34

lol! Who taught him that then?

vkr · 06/04/2006 21:36

Thank you thank you thank you starlover

Unfortunately at £156.78 on Amazon I am unlikely to buy it - will look on ebay - if short and anyone can be bothered to type it out - I would be eternally grateful

After the holiday will also ask at school/nursery

fennel · 06/04/2006 21:52

Fennel is a place, I named myself after it. so there could be a cat from Fennel.
