the day you stood and promised ..to love and understand..
you couldnt have seen the future you,d walk through hand in hand,
you glanced at one and other with nerves in your eyes
then made your vows togeather and made those special ties.
then rings were placed on fingers

you hoped your dreams come true.
you held your silver horse shoe and had your something blue

the years have gently rolled by you ve watched your children grow
but there is something mum and dad they we would like you to know..
we saw the love between you
and hoped we would have the same
you still look at eachother mum like the day dad changed your name

sometimes it wasnt easy and you had to have some tears
but our memories are the happy ones we will carry through the years
the holidays and christmas.s
the laughter and the games
the the silent tears of worry
the dolls the bikes the trains

we want to wish you mum and dad
on your anniversary
many more wonderful years and blossoms
upon our family tree

so thank you from the bottom
of all the familys hearts
for sharing your love so easily
and letting us have out part

and as you stand and kiss today
remember back to when
you stood with nerves and flowers
and married your true friend..
happy anniversary xxx

Captain Corelli's Mandolin
Louis de Bernieres

Love is a temporary madness,
it erupts like volcanoes and then subsides.
And when it subsides you have to make a decision.
You have to work out whether your roots have so entwined together
that it is inconceivable that you should ever part.
Because this is what love is.
Love is not breathlessness,
it is not excitement,
it is not the promulgation of eternal passion.
That is just being "in love" which any fool can do.
Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away,
and this is both an art and a fortunate accident.
Those that truly love, have roots that grow towards each other underground,
and when all the pretty blossom have fallen from their branches,
they find that they are one tree and not two.

I think this is gorgeous and could cover all family too reallySmile
