KangaBoy is playing the lead part in school production---SCROOGE

Proud Mummy Alert

KangaBoy has been chosen to play the lead in the school production of SCROOGE

We are soooooooooo proud of him

There are 2 casts so he is the lead in cast A

He will be on the stage for about 2 hours and has a huge script to learn including songs.

We have sorted out his costume including a top hat

As a treat, we have arranged for the cast to go to London Palladium after Christmas to see the west end production.

So there is a party of 35 of us going to the theatre

Please send him positive vibes for tonight at 7pm

It is the main performance tonight in front of all the parents.

He has done it in front of the rest of the school and staff and some of the parents.

But tonight it is the BIG ONE !!!!!!!

COPPERfeelunderSantasTOP · 08/12/2005 09:54

How did it go?

RTKangaSantaMummy · 08/12/2005 11:43

Well guys even if I do say it myself he was DEFFO BRILL

I have just been watching the video I did last night

He was amazing didn't forget any of his lines he did all his costume changes brilliantly

He sang soooooooooo well

Parents were coming up to us afterwards saying how well he had done

And where did he get his acting gene from? Neither of us ever did acting

IMHO he is sooooooo keen on Les Miz and has been to see it in West End 3 times in last 11 months, he has got the idea of acting even when not under the spotlight.

And this is from a boy who last year was on an IEP {and on the special needs register} to encourage him to speak to the teacher and put is hand up to either ask or answer a question. Or to speak in the classroom or outside the home at all really.

He has now been taken off the IEP because of all the hard work he did with his speech thearapy.

He has achieved so much during the last year

One of the mums came up to me this morning and said the transformation in his speech is amazing

I told him in the car on the way to the performance last night that he had all the power of mumsnet behind him

You guys are sooooooooooo deffo brill and supportive

Thank you

FrenchKissUnderMistletoeGirl · 09/12/2005 19:11

that's brilliant Kanga, I am SO pleased for him!!! Big hugs from the French House!
