oh heck, I'm going to be in a play!

It's with a local amateur dramatics group but I have never done anything like this before. It might sound like a stupid question, but what is the best way to learn my lines?

I have a copy of the play (as a book) so I can highlight my lines but how best to learn my lines. Just read read read? Ask others to read the other lines and I just read mine?

Any tips gratefully received.
