I'm with Aloha and Roobie - Daniel Craig is really sexy. And I will cry every time at the end of Our Friends in the North, too. He's really got it. I am so pleased he trampled those gurlies Orlando Bloom and Jude Law right into the dust.

Marina · 14/10/2005 23:16

Frenchsorciere, Michael Landes might be cute but how could he ever be taken seriously as James Bond after pansying about outside Trudie Styler's bathroom window...

Roobie · 14/10/2005 23:18

I think he's extremely charismatic - definitely one of those actors that you can't take your eyes off when on the screen (and not just because he's gawjus either!)

Whizzz · 14/10/2005 23:19

OK - he's from round here so he's alright with me !

JanH · 14/10/2005 23:22

sex on legs.....

MrsSpoon · 14/10/2005 23:22

I've only seen him in Enduring Love so probably not enough to really comment. Robbie would just do charismatic plus cheeky chappy (which Bond needs just a little bit of) sooo well.

Roobie · 14/10/2005 23:26

what a minger....not!

Earlybird · 14/10/2005 23:41

Don't think Daniel Craig has the right look. I think Hugh Jackman would have made a much better James Bond.

beetlejuice73 · 14/10/2005 23:42

Not good enough.

Earlybird · 14/10/2005 23:44

Who's not good enough? Daniel Craig or Hugh Jackman or someone else?

aloha · 14/10/2005 23:45

Robbie? You mean Robbie Williams? The singer (allegedly)? That over-tattooed, in-the-closet, end-of-the-pier, dog-rough, IQ-barely-in-double-figures, pill-popping ladyboy? For BOND? Are you all INSANE?

Earlybird · 14/10/2005 23:47

My guess is that they can easily imagine Robbie as Bond because of the music video he did where he dressed in a dinner jacket and pretended to be Bond....

He looked such a prat. Really. All that juvenile smirking. He has all the charisma of a spotty seventeen year old hanging out at the bus shelter with a bottle of Malibu and thinking he's cool.

Acting? Don't make me larf.

beetlejuice73 · 14/10/2005 23:58

Eb - Daniel Craig not good enough. Hugh Jackman could work - cheeky glint. But I think Clive Owen for me.

hunkerpumpkin · 14/10/2005 23:59

Robbie Williams is an arrogant arse with the depth of a puddle.

Total wanker, obsessed with his football pitch in LA and how amazing everyone thinks he is. Says unfunny things, then waits for everyone to say how funny he just was. He's been surrounded by people who think he's funny, clever and gorgeous for far too long.

weesaidie · 15/10/2005 00:01

Totally agree hunker. He is absolutely awful and could never have been Bond. Never.

MiladyMarsLady · 15/10/2005 00:05

Am sad that they didn't take the opportunity to cast Colin Salmon who looks like the quintessential suave Englishman in black skin!

JanH · 15/10/2005 00:06

What, this Clive Owen? Looks like Alistair McGowan! (or is it?)

weesaidie · 15/10/2005 00:07

lol, I can see what you mean janh! Yup, thats the man.

JanH · 15/10/2005 00:09

"Hugh Jackman too fey"...

oh, I don't know, though...

but on the other hand...

Anyway, gnash on, it's Dan, hahaha

weesaidie · 15/10/2005 00:10

I have to say he wasn't very 'fey' in X-Men. Very sexy.

MiladyMarsLady · 15/10/2005 00:18

not my fave picture... but he has a look of Sean Connery about him in this one

weesaidie · 15/10/2005 00:20

Yeah, I like him a lot. Still looks like DC it is... hmmm, I shall reserve judgement.

hunkerpumpkin · 15/10/2005 00:20

I'm only sad they didn't cast my fave
