It's ben re-jigged to make it suitable for children age 6 upwards. We saw it today and it was brilliant. Very cleverly done. Still the full story but the way they portrayed it was excellent. It's only on until the end of July but if you can get tickets, I highly recommend it. (I took DS, age 9 and DD age 5 1/2. It was just under 2 hours including the interval of about 20 mins)

Yes, agree it is great. Took ds a few weeks ago and he loved it. I thought it would be a bitt too complicated for younger kids thought - how did your 5.5 yeR old manage?

DD got a tad bored towards the end of the first half but seemed to really enjoy it all and joined in where appropriate. She loved the scary bits - I found the sound of the children screaming quite upsetting but all the children seemed to be fine with it. Both DCs thought the cauldron scene was fab.
