Which London show would you take your 12yo DD to if you had the chance? I'm thinking Les Mis...........

I'd love to see it and I think she would enjoy it, but would appreciate any other recommendations

(also has anyone sat in the upper circle at Queens Theatre? There are available seats on the evening we want in the centre but towards the back, just wondering if the circle seating is tiered like at Her Majesty's Theatre?)

I think Les Mis is a little too long and quite a hard story to get to grips with, obviously this depends on your 12 year old.

I took my four year to watch Wicked and she loved every minute of that. Luckily we were in a matinee and were in stalls row B so she had a pretty good view of it.

We are now waiting for Over the Rainbow to hit the stage

Hope this helps x

She is quite an 'old' 12

She loves Phantom and her current fave film is the DVD of Hamlet (ft David Tennant of course!)

Legally blonde? lol, didn't know that was a musical

hmmmm quite fancy Wicked...

She sounds like a 'old' 12 year old so she may enjoy les mes (did u know they are also touring this year?)

At least she has good taste with David Tennant as hamlet - that was a brilliant production.

But yeah Wicked is really good. Also been to see it with my hubby (who hates musicals) and he was blown away by it.

Hope you have a lovely time whatever one you go to see.

Legally Blonde - I haven't seen it but it's supposed to be brilliant

Chicago (if she's quite an old 12) - is awesome

Billy Elliot was so good I've seen it twice.

And Mamma Mia is fantastic.

And Les Mis has such good tunes that I would recommend it even for a teenager.

I like the sound of ALL of those!

oh choices choices
