hiya, i dont know if this is the best place to ask this but probably someones been in a similar situation. so my friend got attacked recently & the perpetrators went on social media and admitted/told everyone openly they done it, showed incriminating photos & media of the crime scene but pleaded not guilty when they got arrested, they are claiming to police they had no involvement. so as its serious the police cant tell my friend all the evidence until the trial which is a while away. the perpetrators have been charged with CAUSING GBH WITH INTENT.
BURGLARY, CONTRARY TO SECTION 9(1)(b). SECTION 18 - GBH WITH INTENT.
BURGLARY DWELLING WITH INTENT TO INFLICT GBH.
we wanted to know if they get found guilty (hopefully they do) at trial how possibly long will they get in prison & will the judge give them fines, with these charges? they all have previous convictions & currently on remand in jail for this.
