Last year I was a victim of stalking and harassment. I had briefly dated the man that did this to me however hadnt been in contact with for over 10 months when the stalking and harrassment started up.

It has been hurrendous I had 100s voicemails, 100s emails , bank transfers with abusive messages , he would wait at a bus stop where he knew I would be walking past to take my daughter to school daily.
The emails and voicemails were bizarre ranging from I love you to I will get you and sending me music videos and then angry voicemails , crying voicemails etc.

Before anyone asks , yes he was blocked on everything and then he would get new numbers.

He hacked my social media and tried befriending family and friends.

He would turn up at my house and loiter outside.

To cut a long story short. It all came to ahead when the police were called as he turned up after he tried to break into my house at 2 am early September 2023, he ran off but the police stayed to watch him stupidly come back and hide in the Bush outside my home.
He was arrested.
After staying up until 6 am with my eldest son (18) & I giving statements and giving all the evidence over I had, including videos of him loitering outside my house and him screaming at me through my letter box that evening.

I then didnt hear anything for 5 months.

Today the police have got in contact with me to tell me that the CPS have decided to charge him with harrassment.

He will be arrested again , then released on bail until a court date is confirmed.

I am posting this to see if anyone has experienced anything similar, and if anyone knows what is likely to happen next.

I am relieved the CPS have decided to go ahead , I just feel like it has taken so long, my life has been on hold with me looking over my shoulder at ever turn.

What is likely to happen at court?
