Should I tell the neighbours

Yesterday I watched my neighbour being arrested for the 2nd time, since we moved in, just over a year ago.

Go on my local Facebook page and the peadophile Hunters had approached him and video's it.

He was pretending to be a 12 year old boy, lured child(ren) away from the site to Snapchat and sent dick pics and telling the 13 year year old he was apparently speaking to, that he wanted to get his fingers on her. He owned up to being attracted to children. So he has probably got away with more than just this incident.

Informed by the peadophile hunters, that the last time, was also when he got hunted by another group, not even a year ago.

I have felt sick to my stomach since, have 3 kids. My dilemma. Should I knock on my neighbours doors/pop a note through the door, and let them know and to watch the video or not.

He owns up to it, doesn't hide anything. He is about 60, living with his mum, who was actually sticking up for him, even when the women explained that this ain't the first time and if it was her child being groomed, would she be ok about it. I have no sympathy for her either.

I need the help of mums net. What shall I do, not what I would like to do, to him, but!!!!!

Update on the paedo caught by the hunters, who I thought the people on my street should have bee. Made aware of.

SENTENCE UPDATE – My neighbour who was stung on the 27th June 2021 and arrested and remanded for sexual communication with a child. A 3rd time reoffender

He was on a child friendly app pretending to be a 12 year old boy. He sent sexual images of himself and constantly asked for indecent images of who he thought was a 13 year old girl.

Michael Willis’s hearing took place on 12th August, 2021 at Woolwich Crown Court.

He pleaded guilty of the following charges:
1 Breach SHPO / interim SHPO / SOPO / interim SOPO / foreign travel order
2 Breach SHPO / interim SHPO / SOPO / interim SOPO / foreign travel order
3 Breach SHPO / interim SHPO / SOPO / interim SOPO / foreign travel order
4 Adult attempt to engage in sexual communication with a child
5 Sex offenders register - fail comply with notification requirements

He received:-

18 months imprisonment
10 years on Sex Offenders register
10 years on SHPO
£156 cost.

Still not enough for a 3rd time repeat offender but at least it is a prison.
