Domestic Abuse Sentencing and Timeline

Has anyone any experience of going through the Scottish court systems for charges against an ex for domestic abuse? How long did it take? What did you have to do after the initial statement to police?

Hi Overtherainbow ,

How's things going for you? I left my abusive ex in November 2020.
Had a specialist police team from Glasgow take all my statements, was told it was going to get pushed through really quickly. . . .still nothing! Trial has been adjourned 3 times now.
