3 mornings ago I was awoken by the police knocking my door, they entered my home and explained that someone at my address had been viewing indecent images. I was horrified, there are two people at my home, me and my partner of 8 years.
They took our devices, scanned them on a machine, they returned my two phones and said I could leave if I wanted to, I then left. They scanned my partners phone but did not give it back, they kept our laptop and tablet also. He was not arrested as nothing was found. I have not seen him since.
They asked about children we see regularly. I told them about my family. My family have since had a visit from SS explaining me or my partner cannot have unsupervised access until the investigation is done. I am heartbroken. I spoke to the police and they said due to it being linked to the address they cannot pin it on a specific person as of yet. I am petrified to go to work incase they visit my job. I feel like the victim in all this. My life as I know it is over, through no fault of my own. I am successful and law abiding yet I am being punished. I really want to know what options I have.
