Just for fun - your Booker prize outfit!

So while we are all writing away and dreaming of being nominated for a nice prize... why not do a bit of visualisation and choose your Booker outfit?!

I chose Booker because it inevitably means you will be on the front page of a broadsheet or two, so you have to give it a bit of thought.

I had a trawl through Etsy for mine... (also, I'm not employed by Etsy or have a shop on Etsy, I was just being a bit idle in my lunch break having ordered some jewellery for my goddaughter's birthday!)

And some bright red lipstick! My book is set on Bardsey and I am Welsh, hence the general theme to the outfit! Show me yours... it's fun to dream.

Oh this is so fun!! I'm intrigued by your book, I have to say - love a Welsh setting! Mine is set in Norway and it's a spooky one. I love your outfit - especially the fairy crown!

I think I'd wear something a bit Anne Rice, but not full on. Maybe a nice dark dress with a corset and a low back. Some velvet and lace. A little Victorian, I'd say, but perhaps more "fantasy Victorian" so the dress is more chemise style than full on full petticoats and hoops.

I've got a short French bob but I'd pull a bit back at the front into twists, and find an antique style clasp. Some little lace up boots with heels.

I would wear glittery hotpants and evening gloves and nothing else - just so I'd be remembered even after my book had been long forgotten
