Want to start a blog to share writing - which platform could I use?

I am thinking of starting a little blog on sustainable living/craft making where I can publish regular articles and images.

I don't want a full website, as this is not a business for now, but just an experiment to see if I can keep the writing going for a sustained period on topics that really interest me and share content with others to get feedback.

Can anyone suggest what platform I could use?

I will also start an Insta account for this which can link to the blog.

Hi I believe you can set up free pages or websites on WordPress, so you don't have to worry about all the hosting etc

Most people use Substack and Medium now because self-hosted blogs (like WordPress) are dying a death, unfortunately.
