Is there a paying market for erotica?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I write erotic short stories and novellas. Does anyone know if there's a market for these anywhere? It would be lovely to make some money from these as well as the thrill hubby and I get when we read them to each other. 😊

Look up the Literotica website. Loads there.

It's not really my wheelhouse but as far as I know, the interest in erotica is huge. I believe Harlequin now have an erotica series.

Reddit is the go to place for information for this. You will need the App and not the web browser version. Then look up the ‘erotic authors’ community. In that category’s ‘most popular posts of all time’ you will find step by step instructions by a poster named Gorgon on how to successfully self publish and sell erotica. It works.

Also be very, very careful in your content as there are numerous topics that (rightfully in my view) cannot be published so make sure you do not fall foul of this. The Reddit board is very clear about what, say, Amazon, is understood to be ok with and what will cause you to lose your account.

I'd like to think so! It's hard work writing, and even harder self-publishing!

Amazon seems to work, but getting traction is difficult.

Good luck!
