I'm trying posting here, although it's not creative writing as such; hope some of you have experience or useful suggestions.
When DP and I spent six months in Spain a few years ago I wrote an email to a group of our friends and family about once a week, including a few photos each time; just filling them in on what we'd been doing. I got a lot of positive feedback about it and I'd like to make a travelogue of all the words and photos, so that DP and anyone else who'd like it can have the whole thing in an accessible format.
Something online seems the best option, and I had a go with traveldiariesapp.com this morning, but I can't see how to write Spanish place names etc. correctly with accents, or if it's possible to have an online version that is private - because of family members' names being included, I'm not sure I'd want it on a public platform. I also can't see how to insert photos, but I'm sure that's just me being dim and someone will help me.
I haven't got the expertise to create an illustrated document on my own. There are over 16,000 words so I don't think a simple photo book such as Snappy Snaps offer would work.
