Just that, really. On the one hand, the wretched woman almost outclasses some of the worst MN CFers for toxic, deluded self-obsession, but on the other hand, bit of a worrying precedent for authors, really...

A quick selection of posts. Basically, a silly person tried to trademark the word 'cocky' in order to self-publicise/bully other (mainly romance) authors, and it's All Gone Horribly Wrong.

I wanted to try and trade mark her name so she couldn't use that.

I believe she also writes under a pen name so I'd need to do both.

Erm, the books on that link don't look so much romance as soft porn. ...

ShowMe - there's a fair amount of crossover between erotica, erotic romance and romance. Actually there's any amount of genres within romance (including 'sweet' romance where the first kiss is the end of the book).
Faleeeeeeeeeena looks to be in her 30s, maybe 40s. One of those 'not quite made it' as an actor, singer, fashion designer or photographer despite being the most Wonderful Person In The World, so turned her hand to fiction. But once again all the haterz spoiled her chance of showing her specialness to the world (her books, from what little I've seen of them, were neither the best nor the worst in terms of self-published romance, but it's a huge genre with millions of authors, all selling about 12 copies of each book...) so she had this ludicrous tanty.

The whole thing is ridiculous. I keep saying ‘cockywrite laws’ to myself.

Have you seen some of the books being brought out in protest now? There’s one about a cocky, cock-eyed cowboy! 🤣
