So I've written a picture book...

Where would I find a willing person to read it and tell me how rubbish it is? I stupidly sent it to a few agents on a whim and have had 2 rejections so I would like to find someone who can tell me where I've gone wrong!

I'm not an expert, but I too have been writing some picture books.

Oh they would be great, thank you. My punctuation is all over the place I think and it doesn't rhyme but DS asked for a book that we couldnt find anything like in the library so I just wrote something down for him.

I've got it. Don't worry about the punctuation, think about the story and how you're going to tell it first. Not all picture books rhyme.

Could i read it? I've been trying to write one so it would be interesting to see what you have written. Not sure id actually be much help as i haven't had mine published or anything. Although i LOVE this sort of book!
