Dear Ireland-based mumsnetters,
Does anybody have experience of the Decision Support Service?

I have a family member in Ireland who I think might benefit from a decision-making agreement of some kind, but I've never heard of this service before and I'd welcome any comments from people who have experience of using it.

The Family Carers Ireland website has information about this. If you go to their website and search for assisted decision making it could help you.

They (Family Carers Ireland) hosted a webinar on the topic in Jan/Feb with a barrister iirc. They usually send notes or slides to those who participated afterwards. If you contact them they may be able to make those notes available to you or at least be able to advise where else to go for assistance.
