7 Years for trying to get a woman raped!!

What the actual!!! Her colleague impersonated her and set her up on a website for other men to come to her house and rape her on a fetish website.

''He also shared the woman’s personal information including her address, photos of her and her daughters and screenshots from the Strava app which showed her running route.''

It only came out when a man who was arranging to carry out something reached out to the woman on her legitimate Facebook.

The fact he is a garda makes it worse, he has seen what these sorts of crimes do.

Why on earth would he do it. Hate, jealousy?

I know! The maximum is apparently life but he walks with 7 years. It’s such an horrific case and his difficulty serving a sentence as a garda was mentioned as a mitigating factor.
It’s so bloody disheartening to yet again see how the status of being a woman basically negates the right to justice.

The article says 8 years. Sentenced by a female judge. Wow.
He was also found guilty of possession of indecent images of children. So a danger to women and children. What a disgrace.

It would make a victim of rape and sexual assault think twice about reporting it knowing there are gardai who don't take it seriously, some gardai are dangerous to women and children.

It's disgraceful, this was someone who was supposed to protect the public, what a vile excuse for a man

It's scary that these websites exist in the first place and what kind of creatures populate them.

How is this even real? It's like something from the tv, like SVU or something.

And indecent images of kids? Bloody hell.

Glad this fella is behind bars, but who knows how many more are like him? And this can't have come from nowhere. What other damage has he done to other women? Bad man.

Then to send pictures of her daughters to the website!!!!! I can't imagine the fear, rage, dis belief and whatever other washing machine of emotions the victim felt when she found out

These rape fantasy site's should be shut down because some of these freaks can't differentiate between fantasy and reality.
Giving the woman's precise details and her daughter's gave fuckers with serious intent the necessary information.

There’s been more than one case like this in the US where a woman has been raped because someone has maliciously posted her details on one of these sites. Absolutely vile.
