Exciting for Cork, can't wait to find out the name/location of the shop. 250k!! What would you do with it??

I hope whoever it is he or she doesn't immediately move overseas and spends it elsewhere. It would be great to inject a bit of money into the area.

Ciffords Centra on Shandon Street is the lucky shop!! Shandon St is a run down area. Hopefully someone who deserves it!! I heard it may be a syndicate .

Jeez, it's not that run down! I don't live that far away and occasionally go into that Centra to buy milk or get one of those gloriously overstuffed deli rolls.

If any other Corkonians follow 'Reggie from the Blackrock Road' on Instagram, he's got a funny monologue about how he knew when the prize was claimed that no one from the Blackrock Road had won it because they would choose to miss out on 250 million euros rather than admit to going into a Centra on Shandon Street. 😀

@heidyho and @SummeringOut . Im out in the bog but I know that Centra. Once had a chat with the security guard there...back in the 00s. Said its rare to see security in a small corner store. He said the whole shop would go missing without it! Also directed me to the cheapest pub in Cork. The Old Reliable Shandon St. But dont quote me...it was a long time ago

Thank you for reminding me about Reggie from the Blackrock Road @SummeringOut
He is brilliant.
Though I’m from Dublin I still “get” it.

For all you know I'm a chronic Shandon Street shoplifter! 😀

I was just wondering whether the specificity of Reggie's snobberies about Ballinlough and WhatsApp groups called 'Douglas Road Stunners Who Want You to Know Their Child Got the Lead in the School Play' translated outside of Cork. He seems to be touring quite widely this summer, including dates in Kilkenny and Dún Laoghaire, so I suppose it does..?

Ballinlough is a great spot I think! There's no pleasing some...
