It's not unique to the North Inner city. I've seen the statues in other working class areas also.

Agree with pp - those are all over inner city Dublin in working class homes! Not just north.

Unlikely. There have always been wc communities southside. Exh was from the Liberties, very much south of the river, never 'originally' from the northside. Same for most of my neighbours in the Coomb.
