I've tried googling but not coming up with anything.
I bought basmati rice from a well know super market - their own brand. I opened it at the weekend and didn't think it looked right. Cooked it, is is ,long grain rice. Not that big of an issue, I don't really like long grain but said it'd be grand.
I currently have GD and tested my blood after dinner and it was a good bit higher than it'd be after basmati, I went back to my GD guide and long grain isn't recommended. So I won't be using the rest of the pack.
I emailed the supermarket. Long story short they are saying no one else has emailed about the issue, but will look into it. They have also said I needed to complain within 7 days after receiving the food delivery.
It arrived in the right packaging I don't think I was wrong to assume it was the right product. I keep rice in the press and the pantry so it could be bought a while ago but it is still over a year in date.
I can't find anything about my rights to a refund. It's about principal at this point not the actual €2 - which I suspect is why no one else emailed about it.
Any thoughts?
