Child benefit paid early Easter to credit union account

Hi everyone, I changed current account and wondering will child benefit in Ireland come in earlier than next Tuesday?

It was paid yesterday!

What day are you normally paid?

Ours was in the account this morning

When you say 'changed account' do you mean you notified the CB department of a new account to pay into? It would depend how much notice they had to change your details on the system I think

Mine came through yesterday. It normally comes through on the Saturday of a bank holiday weekend, presume it was even earlier as the banks were closed yesterday for Good Friday

Mine is in the bank too, not sure if CU will take longer?

I'm asking if those who have child benefit paid to their current account in credit union have received it yet? Thanks
