Any suggestions for somewhere to get a quick bite to eat near Dublin Airport that is nice ?
Or a suggestion for somewhere nice and handy en route to Belfast.
Afternoon.
My mind has drawn a blank.

Not sure how far off the motorway you want to go, but the Lime Kiln in Julianstown was very good the last time I was there.

Also the Man O War does great food.

Closer to the airport there plenty of places in Swords.

The Lime Kiln Gastropub Julianstown

The Lime Kiln Gastropub Julianstown, Co. Meath offers an exciting food menu, great wines and a range of specially selected craft beer from around the world.

Malahide? Avoca in the castle or the garden centre nearby

Thank you @Slanabhaile and @Chiliprepper
Last time we went to Avoca Malahide but would prefer to "get on the road"

The Applegreen services at Castlebellingham It's not a 'nice' place to go but it's always done the job for us if we need something quick/ easy. There is a deli/ hot food, subway, burger king and costa. I think.

You'd be a good bit on the way too

If you want to get on the road, I'd say Swords, Malahide, even MoW, are too close to the airport. You'd only be on the road and then stopping again. Julianstown is about 30min from airport, there's also the City North Hotel at junction 7 ( which I haven't been to personally but have heard good things about for functions).
Dublin Airport to Belfast is about 1hr 45m, Dundalk is kinda half way if you wanted to look at places there. What about Ballymascanlon Hotel?
Plenty of motorway services, but you'd said somewhere nice so I haven't mentioned those.

Stranfield off the motorway the far side of Dundalk.

Strandfield is lovely, and only a 5 minute detour from the M1. Lovely food, and a shop with food, flowers, homeware. If you like Avoca you'll love it!

Thank you.
