Registry office wedding in the North - are there any that aren't grey, soulless spaces?

Based overseas so can't visit ahead for a recce. Has anyone been to a register office wedding & could recommend a venue? We don't want the all-singing-and-dancing usual Irish wedding - low key, low fuss, max 30 people - so keen on a register office if we can find one that's not depressing!

North as in NI? Belfast City Hall is a wedding registration office. It's not drab

Yes NI... thanks.

Belfast City Council also owns Belfast Castle, Malone House, the Waterfront Hall, and the Ulster Hall. All wedding venues.

I got married at city hall they its a beautiful location. They gave the option of two rooms, one smaller and then a larger one both were beautiful and the registrar lovely.
We had the smaller as there was only 16 of us. We got married on a Friday afternoom then headed over to the hotel just behind city hall for drinks and dinner. It was a great day.

I would suggest joining the wedding help ni face book group. They will be lots of people on there

Belfast City Hall or Enniskillen town hall are both really attractive. Many of the Council buildings were built in the 70's and aren't great looking.

Bangor Castle is where we had our register Office ceremony. Certainly not soulless.

Thank you. We're not on the ground at the moment to do recces but have been looking online and seeing more of the 70s spaces - will look at these two.
