Does anyone work at the Irish passport office?
I want to understand the process of dispatching passports.
I applied at the start of January and it's still being processed. Apparently the office contacted the witness to the application last week but couldn't reach the witness. The witness says no contact was made and there hasn't been any other attempt yet this week.
We are supposed to be travelling next Tuesday.
Does anyone know what happens once the witness has been verified? I.e does it then go to print that same day for dispatch?
I've rang loads of times and asked if I can collect (assuming they try again to contact the witness tomorrow). Each person I speak with tells me I either may be able to collect or may not be able to. Does it get posted express delivery to NI (next day)?
Anyone?
