Can you take food from UK to Republic of Ireland since Brexit?

Yes we had ours checked. Just stick to the rules. Unless it's Veda bread!

Did they really look through your boot?
Was it not crammed with luggage and crap like ours :).
We've just been and took loads of food including some which wouldn't have been allowed but they'd have taken quite a while to find it, even if they had searched.
The ferry was so busy they weren't even checking passports, let alone looking through car boots.
