Very insightful piece in the IrishTimes today. Well worth reading for anyone with girls attending college.

It's depressing to hear this being discussed on national radio during the week and people including women texting in blaming the shameful way girls dress and drink.

No surprise to see there are women throwing stones. So many older women were brought up in a society that was incredibly oppressive.

I suspect there are many women in Ireland (and of course elsewhere but the discussion is about Ireland) who do not understand the concept of consent.

Goes without saying that of course there are Irish men who do not understand what consent is either.
