Dh is wrongly calling it a hurl. I correctly call it a hurley. For context, I have munster heritage, he's from just outside the pale. It's come to a head as ds has just started at the local gaa academy and dh is just trying to piss me off

I’d say hurl but that’s because of Dub DH.

He also says press instead of wardrobe, so I should have known better than to listen to him anyway.

OkPedro He basically calls anything with a door a press. Kitchen cupboard. Wardrobe. Built in cupboard. Hot press.

Typical conversation would be

“DH where is the X?”
“In the press.”
“BE MORE SPECIFIC FFS!”
