John Lewis mattresses - any opinions?

Need a single mattress for DS (4) and John Lewis have one at £50, 1 at £100 and 1 at £195 - going to have a look today but just wondered how you have found John Lewis mattresses wear?

Am thinking i might not spend too much at this point as bouncing is highly probable and Which say this is bad for mattresses (lots of fun though! )I never worry about my mattress too much as i'm just glad to be asleep!

We have a mattress from John Lewis, bought about 5 years ago. I think it cost about £100 and we are really pleased with it.
