Where's the best place to get a decent double bed size mattress?

Am in the middle of refurbing the house and want to order my new bed today. BUT, am not sure where to source a new mattress from.

Want nice quality (firm-ish) but not too pricey.

Grateful for all suggestions. Thank you!

My (well ours) bed came from here... www.bramleybedcentre.co.uk/ it is amazingly comfortable, it's apparently best to try before you buy but if you can't they may do it online for you, or try and find a similar shop near to you.

Thank you ThingumyandBob, am struggling a bit really. Thought I had found the bed I wanted from the White Company with 20% off code, but turns out the 20% discount doesn't apply to beds or mattresses

I really think this is one thing you have to try before you buy. Having said that, I'm interested in what people come up with (need a cheap but good double mattress for our spare bed!)
