This topic is for discussing cots and beds. We've spent weeks researching and testing newborn beds in real homes with real families.

I need a single duvet that can go in an ordinary washing machine please

Title says it all. I think I saw one on Great Little Trading Company but they are very pricey.

I am tired of driving to the next town to get the duvet washed and dried when DS1 bedwets.

BHS do duvets that can be machine washed. I don't know how much a single would be, but I paid £50 for a double.

large sainsburys stores sell them, i think they are quite cheap

Depending on the size of your washing machine, even a machine washable single duvet may not fit if it is bulky. If you have an older machine with a smaller drum, you may find that only a lighter 4.5tog single will fit, and even at that it may be tight.
