The Little Green Sheep Crib Mattresses - is mould still an issue?

Hi, I’ve seen posts from about 7/8years ago of people complaining their Little Green Sheep crib mattress had gone mouldy. The one I just read was in a Snuzpod and another person had added the Lullaby Trust no longer partners with them.
is this still the case or has the issue been fixed?
im trying to find a new mattress for Tutti Bambini Cosee lite crib as I bought it second hand. The official mattresses by TB have terrible reviews. It’s 83x52cm.
Any advice very welcome!!

It’s the nature of the material they use. Yes it was still an issue for me 4 years ago and when I realised I googled it and learned it was common. Much more dangerous for baby than whatever they say about fire retardants in standard mattresses.

Ok thanks! It’s so hard to find the right size, with the right shape and filling without bad reviews 🤪 I’ll keep looking!!

I was considering a mattress from LGS but did not know mould was an issue! Why are their mattresses susceptible to it?

I think it’s the natural fibres.

I went for this one in the end;

it’s a cm thicker than the Tutti one but feels firmer than it. We’ve not had our baby yet but I’ve set it all up and it fits perfectly and feels right when I press it. I’ll add a note on here in the future as to how it wears…
