I am looking to buy a travel cot for my lo. He is 4 months old and weighs almost 9kg (solely breastfed :)). He has slept in a basic travel cot (one like a play pen) and had some of the worst nights sleep of his life! It's also difficult for me to bend into the cot to pick him up.
I've seen ones with bassinet features however they are either non-specific with their advice ("use up to 6 months") or state that the bassinet should only be used up to 6/9kg. Obviously I will have to stop using the bassinet once he is able to sit/kneel but he is way off that at the moment.
Has anyone used a travel cot with a high base with a big baby?
