Cots and beds

This topic is for discussing cots and beds. We've spent weeks researching and testing newborn beds in real homes with real families.

Advice on larger traveling cots please, are there any??

Hi I'm not sure if this is where I should be posting this as I'm new to here but here goes... I have a little boy with additional needs and are planning taking him on holiday with us in autumn but need something for him to sleep in! I'm thinking travel cot type but must be light/portable (for flying with), fairly stable, and suitable to stand up in/out of the top. He has a habit of wandering off and hiding so want him enclosed near me so I can keep an eye. At the mo he is approx 110cm long, and outgrown most travel cots.

I did wonder about a tent type chibi, looked at an acr 2 and a nomad travel tent cot but only went up to approx 125 cm, am worried that although it sounds a decent amount that he would seem squashed in it? I noticed the new phil and teds traveller due out soon is about 135 cm in length but pricy!! Anyone used a tent type and know how spacious they really are?
