Merino kids gogo bag - what to wear under in winter

Hello,
I have just bought my baby a Merino kids gogo bag in normal weight -- I'm very pleased with it but want to make sure my LO is warm enough. It says it is for rooms 18c and above and our room is about exactly 18c. Will a normal vest+sleepsuit be ok or should I get more sleepwear and if so what? Thanks!

I use gogo bags. Love them. For 18 degrees I would use a normal short sleeve vest and long sleeve sleepsuit. Any colder, and I might use a long sleeve vest. If it ges below 16 I have a winter weight one but I have rarely used it. The gogo bags have been one of my top baby buys and they are currently being used the second time around.

Great advice, thanks. It the winter weight one very warm? The 'normal' one feels really thin, but I guess it actually is warm... I might buy the winter one too.

As I say, I have hardly used it. It feels at least twice as heavy. Not as nice as the normal sleeping bags, but worth it if your house is very cold.

Ok what I have done instead is gone out and bought a room thermometer -- £50 cheaper and now I can confirm temp ok for normal Gogo bag! Smile

I have a normal weight one and a duvet weight one. Our room at home is about 18-19 degrees in winter and for that I use the normal one with a long sleeved vest and a babygrow. Colder than 18 degrees and I use the duvet weight with the same underneath. I know that's more than they say in the instructions, but I just feel dd is cold with any less. In fact we're away at the moment and the room is a chilly 14-15 degrees and she's in the duvet weight one with 2 cellular blankets over the top - might seem like overkill, but she was definitely cold with less as felt cool and kept waking up! I think different babies do feel the cold differently.

The duvet weight one is much thicker and feels stiffer than the normal one. I don't use mine that much, but picked it up for £15 on eBay so it's worth having it for the few times it's needed.

I use the winter weight one from Oct/nov to March. Room is warmer than 18 but babs loves to be warm.
They're fantastic
