Baby sleeping bags/ grow bags?

When did you start using these and is it an issue if your little one spits up milk - just thinking how many I would need washing wise ? Do you need sheets as well?

Sorry for the silly questions but would like her to use these when we move her from the Moses to Cotbed

You can use them from about 8lbs. You'll need a sheet on the cot underneath. On cold nights I put a blanket over too but we only have 2 each (twins) and that seems fine but I just sponge off sicky bits and use a bib and muslin for feeds.
