Cots and beds

This topic is for discussing cots and beds. We've spent weeks researching and testing newborn beds in real homes with real families.

Anyone used an all around cot bumper such as 'safe dreams cot wrap'

Was considering this for 6 month ds as although I have put a cot bumper at either end of his cotbed he still manages to bang his head and wake himself up constantly so was wondering if these were any good or if any one had good alternatives??
Thanks

Hiya

I have the Safe Dreams cot wrap and I think it is absolutely brilliant.

My 9 month DD sleeps nestled into the side of it, it is made of breathable soft fabric and fits really well.

I, personally, would not use conventional cot bumpers and have found this one a great alternative.

The website has lots of pictures and so on so you can have a look and see what you think.

I have this for my ds. It is a great product. I found he kept rolling into his bumper and was worried about suffocation. It also collapses if stood on, so not a risk of climbing out when ds gets older. The wrap is breathable, but surprisingly padded. Would highly recommend.
