I had this problem too.

Ended upgoing for a Kidex Sprung Mattress. Was thinking being sprung would be a good idea as they get older (and heavier). There are a few sellers on ebay so you can get them for a reasonable price. Baby not here yet but I am as happy as I can be with it so far!
