I am really curious, how does an organic mattress work? How is it a benefit? How can it be "grown" organically? What is the difference between that and an ordinary mattress?

no chemicals in it presumably pisces.

mamatomany · 06/08/2010 21:07

Oh don't you start, hubby asked if the mattress was running around Devon this time last week Grin

I think it's just chemical free and thats the advantage for me, it has organic wool stuffed between organic cotton.
I'm bloody paraniod because he's my 4th that he doesn't get less looked after or cared for iyswim.

Grin I was honestly interested, not knocking at all.

By 4th, I take it you mean the mattress and not the husband! Gin

Pisces · 06/08/2010 21:32

Opps! I have put gin instead of Grin. Must be wishful thinking....

mamatomany · 06/08/2010 21:51

lol no 4th child, god knows how many mattresses we've been through Grin and gin cheers

to answer your questions, yes, i think i would buy organic sheets too :)

that said, ds2 and ds3 both spent more time on me than in their beds... so will all YOUR clothes be organic??? lol

This is the trouble the first three were attachment parented to within an inch of their lives and this poor mite has hardly been out of his pram and no doubt that'll be the case with his cot when I build it.
I've just got this thing about cot death at the moment, am terrified my luck will run out if I take my eye off the ball. Madness I know.
