Right to buy home

Just bought my
childhood home
for my mum on the right
to buy scheme. Saw that it was going to end a year ago and just had to do it. We had a 60% discount and paid just over £100k . It has been successful. It’s probably one of my best accomplishments at 33 years old.

Do you have another home of your own? If you don't already own a property it's very generous of you to buy one for your mum before yourself!
Is it partly because you want to rent it out after she passes away? And hope she leaves it to you/your kids?

It was your mother who had the right to buy - not you

So you bent the rules to serve yourself

Now poor mum has absolutely no security in her home moving forward

Do you mean that your Mum bought the home with her own funds and you helped her through the process?
Or that you gave your Mum the money to buy the home?
Or that you bought the home and now own it, which doesn't sound right if it's under Right To Buy?
