Hi, to qualify for free NHS prescriptions through UC if you are self employed is take home pay the total amount you make in the month or the amount after expenses is taken off (what you are left with)?

“In England, prescriptions are not automatically free on Universal Credit; eligibility depends on your take-home pay. You are entitled to free prescriptions if your household's net earnings during your last monthly assessment period were: 1, 2]

• £435 or less (with no dependent children and no limited capability for work)
• £935 or less (if your claim includes an element for a child, or a 'Limited Capability for Work' or 'Limited Capability for Work and Work-Related Activity' element) 1]”

Says net earnings.
