Update Childs Education On Universal Credit

Hi, we get child benefit for our daughter and we have to update our child's education with universal credit to let them know she's still in full time education. She starts college this September and its free for her as she's in that age bracket (16-18).

On one of the questions it states "Is their course paid or part of a job contract?" Yes or No?

Do I still pick "No" even though its free because the government pay for her course?

Thank you

I think that refers to if your daughter gets paid from the course, but I could be wrong

It means is she being paid for it - eg apprenticeship.

Some include day release to college but they train in the job the rest do the time.

Your FD is remaining in FT education so it’s a no.

You click no, that hasn’t changed since the government paid for primary and high school.
