I don't want to get into debt and I'm fairly skint. So how are all staying frugal this Christmas?

The buy, buy. Buy attitude has the obvious effect on me in that I buy les, less, lees. I am so fed up with the relentless of Christmas which seems to come round so quickly. I try and keep it simple and mainly only buy for grandchildren

I always do a family party on Boxing Day and so a buffet. This year I have picked up reduced bits over the last few weeks and put them to one side in the freezer . Have bought my nephews and sons a go kart experience off Wowcher , such a bargain

We buy one or two items a week of food so it's not a big expense just before Christmas

We have a £50 budget for each DC plus a few small stocking items.

Our butchers does a good value meat hamper and we pay for that in October.

Luckily our DC like simple activities like national trust walks etc although we are going to a panto it's fairly cheap and we paid for that back in June.

I buy presents on offers throughout the year, only buy for DH and two DC. For food I also buy things on offers.
