Charging disabled adults living at home rent

I am disabled and when I lived at home I had to contribute with my disability money and use the rest for my expenses .
When I left home I was able to claim for the full cost of my rent, + universal credit, and the LCWRA component of universal credit, I also have PIP.
if you are struggling with money and your adult children living at home get PIP get them to apply for their own place so that they can have enough to live on.

My son is on pip and lcwra. He stays at home as part of his disability is massive anxiety and inability to be alone at all. I'm his carer. He helps with the upkeep of the car so I can get him about and pays into family expenses. Being at home means he gets the help he needs but helps us financially too. Not sure he will ever be able to live alone, certainly not in the short term.

I didn’t realise you could claim LCWRA whilst living at home. I get a lot of help from social services

My son is on full pip and lcwra and adamantly refuses to contribute financially or physically

the sooner he moves out the better!
