Went in to farmfoods and saw honeycomb matchmakers for 49p what a bargain it dated t0 August 2024

Orange ones too.
Went today to our new one .
It's great value . I only buy brand names l know and like though.

Farm Foods, also Heron, Home Bargains and probably others (eg we have a local chain called Jack Fulton here) can be great for little gems like this, so worth a browse if you have one that's conveniently located and you have time.

They all sell basics like bread, milk, eggs, cheese and sometimes even fresh fruit and veg so can also be used for top up shops.

I get the proper Spanish allioli from Home Bargains for 89p a tub instead of nearly twice that in Morrisons and also use as a source of reasonably priced, sweetener free tonic water for much less than the cost of Fever Tree. Availability can be a bit hit and miss, but it's usually 29p a bottle or 4 for £1.

I've also had premium vegan burger alternatives like Beyond for about a quarter of the supermarket price. Some of the products in these shops are those that have either been discontinued or are mis-shapes so you can sometimes get items that could well be McDonald's chicken nuggets but the wrong shape or too small in big bags very cheaply.
